EICR.

Electrical Installation Condition Reports are a in depth test into the safety of an electrical system.

These reports, typically valid for 5 years, will identify if there are any issues with the electrics in your property that need urgent attention and recommend any improvements needed.

As of July 2022 all rental properties in Wales will require a satisfactory report, carried out by a competent and registered electrician, by law. A copy must also be given to the tenant.

All rental properties will also require hard wired smoke alarm systems to include carbon monoxide alarms in all rooms with a gas, oil or solid fuel appliance.
