Well the crane got to us today early morning and after some excellent driving skills by Nathan we just about got him in to position. Once he got everything ready it was a simple job lifting the 340kg beams over the bungalow. We now have a run of a few weeks in Verwood so hope to make some real progress. Watch this space!

Our oak delivery was nice and early this morning. Managed to shift all the beams to the back of the house ready for starting the frame on Monday. The big beams are staying at the front as they are 300kg+ each. I’m off to book a crane to lift them over the house next week!!

The oak frame extension with king post truss and purlins. Nice feature with the underside of the roof finished in oak tongue and groove boards. We were particularly pleased with the way this one turned out. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to try out the gorgeous pool whilst on site despite souring temperatures!
