Small repairs to this wonderful 1760 Grandfather Clock Hood. Great project to work on.

A very enjoyable project, a Grandfather Clock case from around 1770 for repair. Part carried out at workshop and part at Clients property.
The case is mainly oak, though the carcass is pine which had to be treated with Woodworm treatment.
The section on bottom of case had to be removed to clean joints and to re attach.
The plinth at the base does not line quite up but the client wanted to keep that as one of its features it came with.
Last photo ready and fixed to wall ready for Horologist to fit the workings.

A surprisingly normal day for me.
Fitting FLB door and frame I made and primed, pointing in.
Hanging the two pictures on the left of picture. Big one needed oak batten and chain to keep it on wall.
Then Repair to a Games Chest, where the hinge area had been damaged.

New kitchen to fit after removing old one and tiles.
Tiled with bone Metro with Jasmine grout.

Ready for the clients Christmas Dinner, this Oak topped table extension. Both sets of legs fold down for storage.

Delivered chopping board made for client today and got a great response.

Butlers pantry finished.
Some new units, old ones revamped then inside lined with baize to protect crystal and pottery.
The island and splash backs are brushed stainless steel.
