💦 You can see the bentonite doing its job here.

This footage captures the drill head travelling back through the bore, with the bentonite activating as it returns through the line. The fluid is helping stabilise the ground, carry spoil out, and keep the operation moving efficiently through challenging conditions underground.

A great visual of the process in action and the important role drilling fluids play in trenchless and specialist ground engineering works.

Precision drilling, controlled returns, and the right support systems underground make all the difference on site.

✨ WELCOME TO THE TEAM ✨

We’re excited to officially welcome Harriet to the team!

Not only is she bringing a great energy to the office, but she’s also Howard’s better half, so we know she can put up with a lot 😜

She’s already getting stuck in with all things timesheets, hours and trackers… keeping everyone in check! Safe to say, she fits the team like a glove!

🚧 Progress is moving fast on the new shed build!

From preparing the stone base to erecting the steel frame, the site is really starting to take shape. Despite some dramatic skies overhead, Howard, Dan and the lads are keeping things moving efficiently and safely. 💪🌦️

Worth Valley on a good day!

Graham on the machine digging the trench while the team follow in laying PE pipe along the route. Simple in principle, but it still takes a good crew to keep things moving cleanly and efficiently.

Scope includes 6,693m of 180mm - 355mm SDR11 pipe being installed.

No fuss, just solid work and smiles being put in by Steven, Matt, Joe & Danny 😃

First time for everything!

It’s been full-on getting everything ready, but we know it'll be worth it. When Howard says he's doing something, it's all or nothing 😉

He’ll be at the Newby Hall Tractor Fest on the 6th–7th June, so come down and say Hi! Howard will be on hand, happy to show you around the kit and have a proper chat about the machines.

If you fancy a good day out, it’s got a bit of everything family entertainment, stalls, clothing, and plenty to see.

How's it been 6 months already!

Without Dot, I'm not sure we'd get all the straps, chains and everything else off the lads in time 😂 Mark and Yuffy are always in to help her sorting out with this job 👍

LOLER checks can't be missed, keeping everything and everyone safe. If anything fails, out it goes and replaced with new.
