🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ Ahoy matey!!! Its time to walk the plank!!!

Today the team have been bringing Sedlescombe Primary School boat back from its shipwreck into a pirate ship for the kids to use. The amazing PTA at Sedlescombe have raised the funds so the kids when they come back to school dont walk around it, they can now play on the once dangerous boat

Shiver me timbers!!! Just swab the deck left to complete before its anchors away!!!

After already paying £12,000 for this chimney to be repaired to a local builder only to find its still leaking we got the call to come and investigate. I wont post the pictures of the work we found but lets just say a 5 year old could have done better.

We stripped out the fire wall, installed leak work, new plaster and repointed the chimney.

The new velux previously installed were also removed and installed correctly.

Yes our works were slightly more expensive at £15,000 but this client is now out of pocket a further £12,000 whilst they go through small claims on work with no contract or written quotation

Cheap isnt always the best.

Tips for anyone looking for work
1. Get a fully written quotation
2. Ask for case studies of previous work
3. Ask to see there insurance. Do they have public liability, do they have non negligence insurance, contractor all risk insurance.
4. Always get at least 3 quotes. We know many very good contractors in the local area and would be happy to recommend them

Proud to be back with Federation of Master Builders

All members need to have a project inspected before they can become a member, the inspector who visited one of our latest projects said its one of the best hes been to for a long time.

Helping out local businesses when times are tough

A fire destroyed a section of the garden at our local pub, everyone is safe which is the main concern. We attended this afternoon to clear the charred remains, clean down and make some repairs so the pub can reopen tomorrow

This Hurst Green home is about to look completely different.

The roof structure is complete and our roofers have started battening ready for tiles. It might just look like timber going up right now, but battening is what gives the tiles somewhere solid to fix onto, and it means the build is moving into its next stage. You can't see much behind the scaffold just yet, but this one is shaping up to be one of the best transformations we have done.

Great work from the team keeping this moving at pace.
