From Survey to Completion – Rochdale 🏠
A recent project in Rochdale carried out by MW Roofing that started with a roof survey and ultimately resulted in a complete re-roof.
During my initial survey, I identified a major leak affecting the upstairs flat. The source appeared to be coming from the valley above, which had already had numerous repair attempts carried out.
On closer inspection, there were clear signs of nail decay, batten fatigue and deterioration of the original roof membrane. With the condition of the roof and the history of attempted repairs, it was clear that further patch repairs would only be a short-term solution.
Following the survey, we recommended a complete re-roof to address the underlying issues and provide a long-term solution.
The completed works included:

🔨 Maintenance-free dry ridge system
🔨 Dry verge system
🔨 GRP V-profile valley
🔨 New membrane and battens
The GRP V-profile valley and dry ridge/verge systems were installed with the aim of reducing future maintenance requirements and providing a more reliable, long-term roof.
It’s always satisfying to see a project go from initial survey → identifying the problems → recommending the correct solution → completed roof.
Another roof brought back up to standard and, most importantly, another customer with a roof they can have confidence in. 💪🏼
