We are a small family business with a larger than life personality, a big heart and a real passion for bathrooms! With over 20 years experience, we understand the importance of choice when it comes to designing a bathroom, whether for domestic, commercial, assited living or hotel applications.

Nobody ever asked us for a dual-lit mirror. We just kept noticing the same thing: people using the same bathroom want different things from it — two people with different needs, or even one person wanting something different depending on the time of day and their mood.

We connected the dots ourselves — why can’t a bathroom mirror do both, and be easy to use?

That connection led to Origins Living developing DuoLYT™️: dual-lighting technology with two independently controlled light sources — a front light for task, a back light for atmosphere — each dimmable and adjustable in colour temperature. Have one on, the other, or both.

No compromise between the two, and no complexity in getting there — two controls, each doing one job.
