Some lovely clients of ours had a bad experience with some cowboy painters. They used interior filler, no sealer and filled and painted over moss. Safe to say the paint started peeling straight away.
So we came in and stripped back everything they did, including the windows. Found some render and mouldings crumbling away under the filler and paint. Re-ran the mouldings by hand and repaired the render. Used exterior filler and sealed everything for a solid surface. Used three coats of weatherproof masonry paint. Used primer, undercoat and gloss on the windows for a lovely finish. Stage one complete, waiting for scaffolding to come down for stage two. Job jobbed for now đź‘Ť

A client wanted to preserve as much of this brick wall inside their office space as possible. So we replaced the bricks that was structurally unstable first. We then fitted stainless steel bars across the cracks. We then moved on to the bricks that was structurally okay but the face of the brick was damaged. With these bricks we brick faced and colour matched every single one. A sealant was applied when finished and the result was a fantastic finish and extremely satisfying. A customer had some marble steps in need of serious restoration. These steps are more like a travertine, which comes off the mountain like honeycomb. They then cut, resin the holes, sand and polish.
We started with the cleaning, using a special stone detergent. We couldn’t use anything stronger, as this would eat into the marble. Once cleaned we resined some stainless steel bars in the repairs for support. Using a two part resin with a variety of dyes, we matched the colours and then resin repaired the damaged marble. We sanded down till smooth. We then sealed and buffed for a lovely finish. Loved this one. Happy customer, job jobbed!

A customer’s concrete cills was in very poor condition and needed restoring. With this type of job we use a special concrete repair mortar. The deeper repairs we drilled and resined in stainless steel bars. We then repaired in two visits, as the repair was to deep to repair in one go. We coated the whole cill for a neat and tidy job. Happy customer and job jobbed.

A customer’s garden wall was falling down and needed to be rebuilt. However they didn’t want a brand new wall, as that would have stuck out a lot. So we offered a sympathetic rebuild. We took down the section of wall that was bad and cleaned and saved every brick we could. Then started to rebuild nice and straight, level and matching the rest of the garden wall.
Rebuilding the wall this way meant they got their garden wall back they always remembered, with a few added brick piers for more support. Takes a little longer but worth it for the result. Job jobbed đź‘Ť

Bit different this one. So something you might not know about us, is our background in carpentry & joinery. We no longer have a joinery shop. So all the bigger bespoke jobs we pass on to other joinery shops that we know are good.
However it means we can do jobs like this. Customer had ordered a summer house to be built. The company ( which I will not name ) delivered all the parts. They then said because the concrete that it was being built on was off by 5mm, they can not build the summer house.
So we came in and built the summer house and easily fixed the 5mm gap with packers. Then in filled the 5mm joint with resin and a sand and cement pointing to get a very nice finish. We then laid down a nice patio on the remaining concrete slab, perfect for those sunset evenings. Happy customer, job jobbed 👍🙂
