I want to say a massive Thank you to everyone on this page for all the work and support you have given us over the past 7 years it really means the a lot! After running Dixons Joinery and Glazing for 7years we are excited to let you know our business is evolving.
In those 7years it has grown significantly, with upwards of 80% of the workload finding its own little niche market of all things windows, doors and glazing through nothing but word of mouth. It just makes sense for us to start this new venture and focus on what we’ve seamed to become quite well know for here in the North East.

Recently completed job for new customers Mr and Mrs Hendry in anthracite grey. The front door was done previously to the windows and is a beautiful new composite door with bespoke Side screens to match the door glazing 💙🚪💠✨ Upvc windows and doors is a large portion of the work we do here at Dixon’s joinery. Anyone already experienced in the industry welcomed but it is not required.

Drivers License not required but must be learning or progressing towards having it. 🚗

Well after many meetings, site visits, 2x working at hight courses and a mixture of help from other companies like, buildscape, North East industrial door services and Reid Fab the job got done and global now have a fiberglass roof with a 25 year guarantee.

If you ever wander y the joins in my fiber glass roofs are visible it’s not through a lack of skill but because I always use 600 gram matting compared to the thinner standard 450 gram matting other companies might use. This roof is classed as a “premium” roof and although the joints may be visible it’s now the strongest it can be and will last more than a life time... belts and braces and all that..✌🏻😋💛🔨✨

New hand made solid oak stair case, oak Balustrade, with chamfered oak sections as glass dividers and nice chunky 10mm glass inserts completed today. So stunning and has to be seen in person to really appreciate it! This one has a special place in my heart as it’s in my family home in which I spent the first 24 years of my life. It was also the vain of my life as I had to work for the only man that’s more fussy and pernickty than me.. my dad 🙃🤙🏻 absolutely stunning! 😍✌🏻❤️💡✨x

1st job of the year completed yesterday. 1 man, 1 week, 1 kitchen. All the walls were tiled so stripped them back, insulated, plasterboarded, plastered, 2x coat of paint, new kitchen and white primed finishings. Blank canvas for the customer to decorate as they like! 😊✌🏻💚🔨🍃

THANK YOU SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!! 😂🤙🏻💛🔨 (Staircase redress) this one was fun, loved doing it and it looks great. turned the open staircase in to a closed one adding risers and blanking off the back with oak ply. All stringers, newels and handrails were clad and replaced with oak and glass panels instead of spindles.. simples! 👌🏻 attention to detail as always no gaps.. Paul Waterfield doesn’t miss a thing 👀 thank you so much for the work! ✌🏻🧡💡x

This year has been all kitchens and staircases but they are now my two most favourite things to do 😂💙🔨 always to focused on the job to take pics but here is a kitchen I managed to snap some before and afters of a couple months back in Craigellachie, the house was over 200years old so it was lots of fun to fit.. 🙃🤙🏻 haha! Repaired all the walls ready for paint. All appliances are integrated, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and even some recycling bins to boot, new flooring down and wham, bam, new kitchen! ✌🏻💚🌈🍃

Staircase redress in oak with glass panels for Mr and Mrs Bremner. Done quite a few of these this year and the pictures never do it justice at all. every piece lovingly planed, chamfered and sanded and not a gap in sight 👌🏻🔨💪🏻 The customer decided to oil it for the finish too and it just looks beautiful, thank you very much for the work guys.. and the amazing home made sugary candy! 😊✌🏻💛🍬💡✨

The first two pictures are the beginning of a long winded story so I’ll try keep it short.. I had done a whole house of interior finishings, skirtings, facings and full door sets but the customer didn’t want to put the glazed doors I’d already fitted through the house (picture one) in place of the double doors (picture two) as he thought it would loose to much light and didn’t want any of the other ones from the brochures so I went to it and worked my magic.. 😂🧙🏻‍♂️🔨✨ so worth it these look ace and are a total one off thank you Paul Waterfield for the trust and letting me get on with it ☺️✌🏻💛💡🏠💫
