Ofgem has announced that the energy price cap will rise by 4% from 1st October, taking the typical householdโs annual energy bill from ยฃ1,663 to ยฃ1,723.
Thatโs another ยฃ60 a year โ and once again, it highlights just how much our household energy costs can be affected by global gas prices.
