Another roof we have done in Ross on wye. Removed old tiles and replaced felt and batten. Added new rafters to straiten back section of roof. Added eve’s trays and continuous ventilation over facia boards.

Back to do another phase on this extension we built last year.
Windows in, first fix carpentry done.
Dry-lined and plastered and got the render scratch coat on the outside.
Doing two cut through’s and finishing off plastering this week. Then it will be second fix plumbing and electrics soon after.
Hoping to get the rendering finished next week too if the weather is kind ☔️

So our client came to us with a problematic leaking roof.
Upon inspection we discovered that the slates they had were failing due to poor quality and incorrect installation. They were oxidising badly due to unstable pyrite content and breaking down causing leaks. Also the cold roof space was not vented so there were major condensation issues in the loft spaces.
To keep cost down for our clients we agreed to replace with riven fibre cement slates, keeping all valleys/lead, facia and guttering in place. We did however need to replace all felt for a none breather roofing membrane and re batten to suit new larger slate sizes and type.
We fixed a continuous over fascia vent on all fascia boards and valleys and a vented dry ridge system to create continuous air flow and rectify the condensation issue.

Another beautiful kitchen we have finished this year for our repeat customers in Ross on wye.
We have stripped out the old kitchen, installed new electrics and plumbing. Re plasterboard ceiling, patched plaster on walls. Fitted new kitchen and worktops and laid Luxury vinyl tile floor throughout kitchen and garage conversion area we did for them last year.

For a project like this we offer the full package. We take care of the removal of your old kitchen. All building work, structural or otherwise. Electrical alterations and lighting, plumbing alterations, the kitchen fit and tiling/flooring.
