This time last year, we completed our transformation of Dore Primary School Community’s outdoor space.

Their mission was to create a dedicated ‘physical development area’ for their reception children to challenge themselves and push their limits. So that’s what we delivered!

We were challenged by St John’s C.E. School to transform their uninspired, underused outdoor area into something that fosters creativity and imagination.

Last week, we completed that transformation. They now have a bespoke playground that incorporates all the key features of active and sensory play.

Following the success of our first project with Forestry England – the Butterfly Shelter at Haldon Forest – they approached us for a second time.

The brief: An accessible and multifunctional shelter for outdoor activities that blends in seamlessly with the natural environment.

Our installation: A bespoke shelter that’s an extension of the surrounding woodlands, complete with a wheelchair-access ramp, various seating and storage options, and plenty of space for activities.
