Dynamic Access is a specialist contractor providing high-level glazing, façade and building envelope services to commercial clients across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering technically demanding works safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. As our workload continues to grow, we are looking to add experienced Rope Access Technicians to our team.
The Role
We are seeking IRATA-qualified Rope Access Technicians to support ongoing commercial projects nationwide. The role involves working as part of an established team on a varied programme of high-level glazing, façade and remedial works, with travel across the UK as required.
Key Responsibilities
· Carrying out rope access works in accordance with IRATA International Code of Practice (ICOP)
· Replacement of failed, damaged or blown IGUs (insulated glass units) at height
· Installation, removal and remedial works to curtain walling and structural glazing systems
· Sealant removal and replacement, including weather sealing and structural silicone works
· Investigation and diagnosis of water ingress, followed by remedial repairs
· Inspection and minor repair of cladding, panels, gaskets and façade fixings
· Pre-use inspection of PPE and rope access equipment, reporting any defects
· Working to site-specific RAMS and complying with all client and site safety procedures
· Participating in rescue drills and maintaining readiness to perform a rescue
· Supporting Level 3 supervisors with rigging, anchor selection and operational planning
Essential Requirements
· Current IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 certification (logbook up to date)
· Demonstrable experience on commercial rope access projects in the UK
· Sound working knowledge of IRATA ICOP and safe systems of work at height
· Reliable, punctual and professional approach to site work
· Strong team-working and communication skills
· Based within reasonable commuting distance of Rotherham
Desirable
· Experience in commercial glazing, curtain walling or façade systems
· Competence in structural and weather silicone application
· Full UK driving licence
· Valid CSCS card
· First Aid at Work or First Aid at Height
· IPAF and/or PASMA certification
· Asbestos Awareness (UKATA or equivalent)
