Joinery Workshop Assistant

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic joinery workshop assistant to join our growing staircase production team. Knowledge and experience of a joinery workshop is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Being able to work as part of a team is extremely important, but the ability to work under your own initiative will also be expected. This is a physically demanding position, so a good state of health is essential.

Duties will include
Supporting staircase production team using machinery
Moving materials and products around the production areas
Preparing materials for finishing (Spraying)
Cleaning and tidying areas when not in use
Assisting unloading and loading of materials and goods
Help provide a safe working environment

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Rate of pay: minimum wage
Location: Rotherham (near Meadowhall)
