It was an absolute pleasure creating this en-suite in rawmarsh.

Some great customer choices in this one.

Removing old fitted wardrobes and constructing a a new wall to incorporate a larger tray. A few finishing touches left to complete!

Today we carried out a job on behalf of a letting agent who had taken over management of the property.

I was shocked when talking to the tenants they told me they had been in the property 12 years and the landlord has not carried out one gas check. Luckily the boiler & cooker all checked out fine, there was no issues. However upon checking the fire, the story quickly changed, it was just sat in the chimney opening, only secured by the gas pipe, upon checking the chimney & the ensuring fumes are been carried away this fire failed instantly, fumes were pouring back in to the living room, the space behind the fire was absolutely full up of debris. The chimney was not fitted with the correct terminal allowing anything to fall on to / behind the fire.

If you are a tennant living in a rented property please ensure that your landlord are taking their responsibilities seriously. They should provide you with a current copy of your gas safety check upon request.

We’re sorry for the long post but it’s really scary how many people don’t take gas seriously. The situation on today’s job could’ve quite easily with someone dead.

Our latest bathroom project
Quite a a few hurdles to overcome on this one including some damp walls and floors that were massively out of level and some really poor previous workmanship. But the end result is amazing!

This is probably one of our most attended call outs.

Due to newer radiators having grills & covers it’s sometimes very hard to see the top fittings & usually people realise they have an issue when their carpets and curtains are wet!

This is something that can be sorted relatively easy and cheap. But if left to deteriorate it can cause longer term issues with your boiler, pipework and other radiators due to corrosion. It pays to check around your plumbing & radiators every so often!
