⚡ Today we carried out an EICR on a property that we originally tested 5 years ago.

During the inspection, one of the test results came back higher than we would normally expect on the cable feeding the property.

Rather than ignore it, we contacted Northern Powergrid who attended and carried out their own tests.

Thankfully, it turned out to be a loose connection inside the meter head and was quickly resolved 👍

This is exactly why EICRs are so important.

Without periodic testing, faults like this can easily go unnoticed until they become a much bigger problem.

Electrical testing isn’t about finding faults for the sake of it…
It’s about keeping homes safe and spotting potential issues before they become dangerous.
