Little bit of a different one today. If your CO alarm goes off, this is obviously indicating that the level of CO is above the allowance, which in turn is very serious. At Relight Gas Services we do offer a full CMDDA1 fumes investigation. Which we’ve done today for a lovely family.
The owner got woken up at 02:30 in the morning from a CO activating alarm.
After a very thorough investigation there was no CO present at all at any point during the test process.
The only thing that wasn’t tested, was the log burner, which was burning during the activation of the alarm. The owner knows not to use the fire, until it’s had a service.
All in all, the customer is now sat in the warmth of their home with running hot water.
