Another great bit of progress on our Halesowen project 👌
Coming on really nicely now — brickwork complete, roof timbers installed, and the bay window fully insulated and tiled.
Next up is the leadwork, along with roof tiles and plastics to the porch and store, which are scheduled for tomorrow.
Not long to go now until this one is fully finished and ready for handover 🔨🏡

🔨 New Project Underway! 🏡
P&S Construction has started an exciting new project in the Halesowen area / West Midlands, featuring a full silicone render to the upper half of the property and bay, along with a planned front extension including a porch and additional storage/garage space. Great progress so far, especially with the weather improving—more updates coming soon!

Really happy with how this double curved wall turned out. It definitely tested my patience at times — felt like I was back in college again figuring out the curves! 😅
This was an insurance job after a drunk driver crashed into the original wall last year. Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt. We rebuilt it stronger and better, and the finished result speaks for itself.

Nice little porch we’ve recently completed in Redditch.
This one was a bit of a brain-twister to start with — we had to remove two existing supports that were carrying the canopy roof, and to make it more interesting, the design also included arched soffit supports.
After putting our thinking caps on and working through the details, we came up with a solid solution and made it work exactly as planned.
Really pleased with how it turned out and another happy customer 😊

Garage conversion brick-up done today for one of our regular electrical contractors 👌
Bricks turned up absolutely drenched — straight out the canal job 😅 Had to down tools and come back once they’d dried out.
No drama though… persevered and got it smashed out 💪
Quality finish. On to the next one 👊

Small job completed this week 👷‍♂️

Many older properties have a concrete lintel on the inside only, with no support on the outer brickwork. Years ago it was common to brick over old timber window frames, but when those windows are replaced there’s often nothing supporting the exterior.

This can lead to bowed windows and even glass failure.

⚠️ Always check your window installer provides a proper external lintel or support.

No job is too big or too small — we get it done.
Recently, we helped a homeowner who was in the process of selling their property. A building survey highlighted that sections of the party wall in the loft space were incomplete, leading the buyer to request a £2,000 reduction on the asking price.

While not the most glamorous job, it was an important one. We carried out the necessary works quickly and professionally, resolving the issue for a fraction of that cost and helping the sale move forward smoothly.
