Not at your first appointment. Who would do that? 🤔

We want you to experience our design process, our service and the quality of what we offer before asking you to make a financial commitment.

Survey or Consultation ✅

Initial design sent ✅

Studio design appointment and design refinements ✅

Accurate quotation. ✅

Then, your deposit. ✅

By this point, you’ll have seen your kitchen take shape, explored our materials and finishes, made your selections and understood exactly what your project is likely to cost.

You’ll have had time to get to know us, experience how we work and decide whether we’re the right studio for you.

And we’ll have invested considerable time in your project designing, refining, specifying and carefully costing it.

We feel this is a natural point for a commitment.

Your deposit simply marks the next stage, where we continue the design process together and take your kitchen from an idea towards something very real.

Planning Your Kitchen Budget?

Most kitchen companies won’t tell you this.

We will.

One of the hardest parts of planning a new kitchen is understanding where your money actually goes. So here are some realistic planning figures based on the kitchens we’ve completed this year.

These aren’t quotations. They’re simply a guide to help you budget with confidence.

Stone Surfaces
Guide: £2,500–£5,000
Quartz remains the most popular choice.
Our average spend: £3,500.

Cabinetry
Guide: £10,000–£25,000
A useful budgeting tip: allow around £1,000 per unit for painted timber, or £700 per unit for slab MDF. This includes the cabinetry and all the finishing components—not just the cabinets themselves.
Our average spend: £15,000.

Appliances
Budget £500–£800 per appliance for quality mid-range brands, or £1,000–£1,500 for premium brands.
Our average appliance package: £4,000.

Preparation
Often the forgotten cost.
• Wall removal: £2,000–£3,000
• Sockets: £80–£100 each
• LVT flooring: around £100/m²
• Consumer unit: around £1,000
Most projects require £2,000–£4,000 of preparation before installation begins.

Installation
Our average installation once the room is ready is £3,200.

When everything is added together, the average kitchen project we’ve completed this year has cost just under £30,000.

We have completed projects for less than £20,000 and over £70,000. Our range is high quality and vast, to accommodate all sensible budgets.

We hope these figures help. Not because every kitchen costs the same, but because understanding where your money is likely to be spent makes planning far easier.
