Good progress this week on a full gable repoint 👏🧱
The whole elevation has now been raked out and the majority repointed, with just the final section left to finish on Monday.

A lot of prep goes into a job like this before the fresh mortar even goes in, but it’s already making a massive difference to the appearance of the brickwork.
Nearly there on this one ✅

Another boundary wall repair completed in Bedworth 🔨
The old copings were removed along with the damaged top course of brickwork, before rebuilding the wall where required.

New coping stones and pillar caps were then fitted across the full run to give the wall a much cleaner finish and better protection going forward.
A nice transformation and a much tidier finish across the whole frontage.

Garage brickwork repair completed in Rugby 🔨

The brickwork above this garage had started to fail, so the loose section was carefully taken down and rebuilt.

Where possible, the original bricks were cleaned off and reused, helping the repair blend back into the existing property while also keeping unnecessary material costs down for the customer.

The leadwork to the rear was also lifted and re-bedded properly before everything was finished off.

A much neater and more secure finish.

Old doorway and window altered to form one new window opening 🧱

Both existing openings removed, centre pier taken down, new lintel installed and the brickwork rebuilt to create one larger opening ready for the new window.

Another nice alteration completed in Rugby 👌

🧱 Full gable repoint completed

Old and deteriorated mortar raked out before the full gable was repointed, helping protect the brickwork from the weather heading into winter.

A big improvement and another one ticked off for RS Brickwork 👌

🧱 New doorway formed for a kitchen renovation
A new opening formed through the existing wall, ready for the customer's new kitchen.

As this was inside an occupied home, the opening was stitch drilled rather than cut out with a disc cutter, helping keep the dust and mess down as much as possible.

Opening formed, new concrete lintel installed and everything left ready for the next stage of the renovation 👌

Chimney repair completed in Rugby 🧱

This chimney was in need of some attention, with deteriorated mortar joints and failing flaunching around the chimney pots.

The chimney has now been fully repointed and re-flaunched to help keep it protected from the weather for years to come.

🧱 Garden wall rebuild completed
The existing wall was knocked down and rebuilt, with as many of the original bricks cleaned up and reused as possible to keep the character of the property.
Even a very rainy Tuesday didn't stop the build 🌧️😂

Small concrete repair completed in Rugby 👌

The existing concrete around the inspection cover had cracked and failed, allowing debris into the chamber and contributing to blockages.

The damaged concrete was broken out, the area prepared and reinstated with fresh concrete around the cover.

Not every job has to be a big one!

Diary currently full until end of October — now taking bookings from then onwards.

Front of this property repointed in Rugby 🧱

Old mortar raked out and the brickwork fully repointed, giving the frontage a much cleaner finish and helping protect the brickwork for years to come.

Another one completed and looking much better 👌
