What a week it’s been 🥵

Started Monday with another staircase renovation for a returning customer. A quirky layout with a few challenges, but seeing it all finished has completely transformed the space 🔨💪

Then popped down to UK Planet Tools to check out their new upstairs area… and of course, I couldn’t leave empty-handed 😂

Picked up a Milwaukee drill mainly to get onto the M12 batteries just for my new 23ga nail gun

More on that very soon!

But to finish off August, I’ve got a BIG announcement…

From 1st November, I’ll be putting the tools down for 6 weeks ✈️🌏

I’m heading off on my biggest solo adventure yet — Australia 🇦🇺 and Vietnam 🇻🇳!

You might’ve noticed me working a lot of 7-day weeks lately, and this is one of the reasons why. Being self-employed means no holiday pay, so I’ve been grafting hard to cover the bills, keep the business going and fund the trip.

It’s easy to get caught up in work, but sometimes you’ve got to remind yourself why you work so hard in the first place.

The business will still be here when I get back, but time is something you don’t get back.

So it’s time to put the tools down, explore the world and make some memories ❤️🌏

Work hard. Enjoy the rewards.

Roll on November 🇦🇺🇻🇳✈️

When starting a job you always start with a demolition/removal stage first.

So here I was removing some timber post and normally it flat head depending on the house.

But my goodness why it took forever to remove it by screwdriver.

Yes I could do by drill and low torque setting but I just do it as I could potentially stripe the head then I couldn’t take it out

Day 5

Staircase renovation is complete

It was a lot of work put into this for a returning customer

But everyday they always compliment how it’s changing so much and appreciate the effort I’ve put into.

I say it definitely has a massive change to it completely
what do you guys think to it do you like the alternative spindles?

Let me know down below.
