Heavy-Duty Manhole Replacement

A recent job at a care home in Wellingborough involved replacing a damaged manhole cover and frame.

The existing cover was removed and replaced with a new heavy-duty cover and frame, securely installed to provide a safe and durable solution.

Buried Manhole Uncovered & Drains Cleared

A drainage issue in Thrapston led us to a manhole that had been buried beneath the ground, making access to the drainage system difficult.

We located and exposed the manhole, allowing us to gain access to the pipework and clear the blocked drains.

Once the blockage was removed, the system was checked to make sure everything was flowing as it should.

Another example of why finding the cause of a drainage problem is just as important as clearing the blockage itself.

Blocked Drain Cleared in Wellingborough

Another blocked drain cleared in Wellingborough using professional high-pressure jetting. Once the blockage was removed, the drain was thoroughly washed through, restoring free-flowing drainage.

A quick reminder while we're talking about blocked drains: grease, fats, oils and food waste are common causes of build-up within your pipework. Over time, they can stick to the inside of the pipes, restrict the flow and eventually lead to a blockage.

Where possible, avoid putting grease, fats, oils or food waste down the sink. Let fats and oils cool and dispose of them correctly, and put food waste in the bin rather than washing it away.

A few simple habits can help keep your drains flowing freely and reduce the risk of future blockages.

Collapsed Drain Repaired in Northampton

A collapsed drain can quickly lead to recurring blockages, poor drainage and water backing up, so getting the problem properly repaired is important.

We recently carried out a drain repair in Northampton after a section of the existing pipework had collapsed and was restricting the drainage system.
