Just finished a project for my daughter who loves to play chess, I decided to make her very own set, with 3d printed chess peices the base is a mirror set into a wooden surround engraved with dragons. Hope you like.

Iffy Crafts has been a little silent recently, and I'm sorry for that, with a spell of ill health but now on the road to recovery.
But what the time out has done, has given me time to sort out a few issues that have been a concern.
The problems I faced were the cost of materials and energy costs, running two large laser cutting machines is not cheap, and as I have kept my prices the same since I started, its become difficult to make the quality items at an affordable price. So I spent some time researching renewable energy and if this could help, which in the long term, I found would help, so off I went and researched and brushed up on my electrical installation skills and the latest building regulations, and today I can officially say, Iffy Crafts is run by Solar energy, as the install is finally finished, and running with the help of Battery Back up, I have cut the power from the mains and now purely self producing energy, although I do fear, if a big order comes in I might have to back the solar up on a cloudy day with my daughter running on a tread mill, attached to a generator, lol

Christmas time has arrived and i thought the dinning table needed a Christmas make over, so I decided to make some Christmas slate placemats and coasters, hope you like. These can be custom designed and engraved even photos can be engraved for £10 per placemat and coaster. Discounts for bigger orders.

I had a customer ask for a photo to be engraved onto a mirror, which is something I have not done before as there is a lot of preparation and photo editing, well being someone who loves a challenge, I set out to practice on a photo of my Jack Russell puppy "Sherlock" I first removed the background of the image then turned the image into the digital negative image and went to work to edit the negative to bring out a much detail as possible when the negative image is engraved, I then sent the image to my laser machine design software to position and prepare the laser machine to engrave, I think it came out very well, I hope you like it. I have been busy this morning, I had a delivery of slate placemats and coasters, and decided to make a totally pawesome, placemat with photos of Jack Russell's on.
Can be made up with whatever wording and design you like. I hope you like.

I have been meaning to make this for a while, I made the prototype a while ago, but finally got round to making a turntable plinth, this is made out of Baltic birch, cad design put the tone arm in the axact position within 0.009mm tolerance, I wanted an ellagant, solid turntable, finished off with a British made tone arm and motor and speed controller from Origin live, I decided on a rosewood colour, with a high gloss yaught varnish finish, hope you like.

To welcome our new family Member, Sherlock, a 9 week old Jack Russell puppy, I had to make him a house fit for an outstanding detective, Sherlock Puppy detective agency, 221b Baker Street. I scaled down the design for my Dog cat House so perfect for small puppies and kittens.

Due to the weather this weekend and most and if not all craft fairs had been cancelled, I started working on Mirrors as a new line of products, these can be made with your wording, my wording, anything really so very customable. Just £15 each with a frame. The Mirror is a glass mirror not the cheaper Acrylic mirror, which can get get scratched easy, also the Mirror is A4 size 300 x 210mm so could be reframed in a frame of your choice.
