In a world of those seeking immediate availability it’s sometimes better to wait than to get the fella who is sitting about on his arse doing nowt! There’s a reason for the wait very often professionals are booked well in advance.

I don’t normally travel as far as Perth (Scotland not Oz!) have agreed to a job in the fair city.

If anyone in or around Perth (south not north!) needs a survey or some basic mould remediation get in touch.

Timely reminder about these “experts”

I’ve just watched a video online from LinkedIn of an independent damp surveyor receiving high praise from his industry peers about detecting a leak on a sink wetting the wall. Two “surveyors” had gone before him stating rising damp! They can’t be called damp surveyors. The guy getting praise for spotting it is also an insane reaction by the industry.

I’ve never done a survey without checking attic, bath, toilet and sinks it’s first day at damp school this stuff! It’s called diligently applying basic survey techniques. Big fanfare about spotting it! Call out the fraudulent imbeciles who didn’t!

I must operate on another planet… rising damp from a water leak on a sink missed by two “professionals” utter nonsense to celebrate when a guy looks under the sink!!

Fookin hell it has got this bad. Be careful folks engaging a “damp expert”
