was called out last week, the description was light hasn’t worked for over a year and with family over for Xmas the client was desperate to get this working into the entrance to this lovely house.

Another concern was loose connections under the floor…

A carpenter initially took a board up directly above the fitting. We then came in to put a camera down to see where the cable was potentially going. We hit a wall “quite literally” and I had to make a judgement call.

Tap on the floor….. I think it could be here…..tongue and grove flooring & painted, it had to be right.

That feeling when you prize open a board gingerly and there they were…… x2 junction boxes of Doom!
