Hi there , it’s been a very slow wasp season ( good for customers but not for us 😥) they have just started to become a nuisance. If you have one get me in quick and then you can enjoy sitting outside with your favourite tipple without being pestered by the little striped buggers . When will this rain stop . The wasp season won’t be good this year as the wasps need dry wood to make the nests . No dry wood no nests . It’s great news for all the customers who enjoy a picnic or bbq but not for us poor pesties . Hiya it’s been a while since I last posted . It’s mainly been rats and mice for the last year . Personally I’ve been very quiet on the bumble bee calls this year which I really don’t mind as we no longer treat any bees or their removal. I do have a bee expert I can call on for honey bee removals.
The wasps are slow to appear this year but they are just starting .
The glis glis have also just started waking up and will soon be a nuisance keeping people awake with their job nailed boots dancing in the loft .

Hi there Verminator fans (lol) the wasps are getting drunk and aggressive nowadays as the season slows down . If you have a wasp nest it’s definitely time to sort it out before it gets as big as the one in the picture I treated this morning.
The glis glis are starting to be a nuisance by coming into people houses . Most people won’t know what they are but if you have them you know .

Hi there Verminator fans

Wow it’s a hot day .... the wasps nests have sprung up everywhere in the last couple of weeks . They double their size every week . As soon as you see a possible nest call me and I will try and get there the same day . The quicker you call the quicker I can deal with your problem and the quicker you can enjoy your garden again . You will never get charged for a recall on the very rare occasion the first treatment doesn’t work.
There are also loads of rats about at the moment and the Glis Glis are being a pain by getting into people’s houses and having a party ( no social distancing with them )
Get me out with my multi catch traps and I will sort your problem within days rather than weeks.

I’ve been in pest control for about 14 years now. You still don’t get used to the horror of lifting a tile in the ceiling of an office and you get a deluge of rat droppings and maggots falling down your neck . I found the culprit a very smelly dead rat . The customer was overjoyed as he couldn’t use his office . All in a days work .
The wasps are starting to be noticeable due to their increased numbers as the workers start to build the nest while the queen just produces eggs for the rest of year.
If you spot any contact me ASAP they will only get worse and won’t just go away .

Hi everyone, hope you are all staying safe . Another lovely day but please try and stay in for your own safety.
The government have now declared pest controllers key workers . I can wear masks and gloves if I need to come round . If you have any type of pest please let me know as soon as possible as this makes my job a lot easier. Queen wasps are out and about and making nests so keep an eye out in sheds or out buildings . Don’t wait til the end of summer let me deal with them now and you can enjoy your garden wasp free for the rest of the summer .

Hi everyone hope you are all keeping safe and well .
Don’t forget The Verminator is still doing emergency calls . If you have a mouse or rat running around your house this is an emergency and I will be out the same day .
This fine weather is bringing out the bees and queen wasps . Both are looking for a place to nest . Just a heads up and to save you spending money unnecessarily on a call out fee . In May if you think you have a wasps nest 95% chance it’s bees in one form or other . If there’s lots flying about in May they are most likely honey bees . The other bees around in May are the various species of bumble bees . These are much bigger and rounder than wasps . Depending on where each are located they can be removed but in most cases if left alone they don’t cause any problems.
Remember stay indoors and stay safe .

Apologise for the lack of posts but I will be back on track now .
I hope everyone is keeping safe and well . We can all do our bit by staying in and not hoarding food . Talking of hoarding food and toilet rolls . I bet most people are storing them outside in a garage or shed . I expect a big surge in calls in about a month when people realise they have mice or rats chewing their stored stuff.
Just to let you know I’m trying to stay at home as much as I can but I am available for emergency calls if required.

It’s getting busy with wasps and hornets this time of year . If you have a nest you know who to call ....Tim The Verminator. Discounts for multiple nests . I normally treat a nest the day the call comes in but occasionally it will be the next day .... that’s the trouble with being so damn good people want the best and some days I just can’t fit all my wonderful customers in on the day they phone .
There’s still plenty of rats about at the moment .
And of course my favourite time of year .... Glis Glis season is once again here . Easy to catch and very cute ... not as cute as me though.

Sorry it’s been a while , I pointed out to an estate agent where rats were getting in . I offered to proof it but they said their handyman would do it. I was then called back out again for guess what ..... rats in the kitchen ( there’s a song there ) . The handyman assured the tenant rats can’t chew through that thickness of wood ..... idiots like that keep me in work 😂😂😂
