I was given these because the owner had forgotten the codes. Tricky opens because they're so cheaply made that it can be difficult to feel the true gates from the false gates. Even when the correct numbers are lined up they don't open until they've been slightly misaligned.
Of course, it's cheaper to buy 2 new locks than pay me to open them, but I'm just showing off..

Changed a key operated lock for a digital door lock. Hardest thing was not damaging the paper door! Unusual request from customer to change the code to the fewest number of button presses. 1 digit!

A builder installed this. The ends of the cylinder are supposed to be flush with the handle if possible. They say locks only keep honest people out. This wouldn't keep next door's dog out.
I only charged half price for the correct size replacement lock because I'll use this one elsewhere since it's almost new.
