Did you see last week's post on making a LEAF MOULD BAY?? 🤔
How about adding a DEAD HEDGE too for increased biodiversity? 🪲These projects are quick to do and save filling your green bin or trips to the compost heap 🙂
Choose a quiet location and using some natural round posts, drive them 30-60cm apart in two parallel lines, at least 60cm wide but as wide as you have room for.

Use hard and soft prunings, starting with the biggest at the bottom, lay these horizontally and include twigs and other garden waste. Any berries, spent flowers and seedheads still attached will encourage wildlife and the hedge will provide a variety of habitats.
