🚨 Project Spotlight: Preserving a Piece of Calbourne’s Heritage! 🌿

We’re excited to share a little project we did recently, where we had the privilege of replacing the wooden information sign for the beloved Winkle Street in Calbourne. 🌳

Winkle Street, with its charming 18th-century cottages and vibrant gardens, is a true hidden gem of the Isle of Wight. The original sign, weathered and worn, had served the community well but was in need of a refresh.

Using durable oak, we built a new sign and stand to ensure this landmark continues to welcome visitors for years to come. The original information plaque has been carefully transferred to the new sign, keeping the spirit of Winkle Street alive. 🛠️

One of the rooms we have completed in a recent house refurbishment. We removed all old plasterboard from walls & ceilings, took out old fitted wardrobes, then fully insulated with celotex. Fitted new plasterboard & plastered throughout, freshly painted, fitted new windows, skirting, architraves, oak door and fitted new carpet to finish the job
