Phase 3 is underway at Cranleigh 🏗️

We’re pleased to have recently started Phase 3 of our long-standing Cranleigh project, continuing our work on a development we’re proud to be part of.

And we’re already making great progress, with the first 6 of 45 units now complete.

A great start to the latest phase and another milestone for the team. A big well done to everyone on site for keeping things moving and delivering a strong start to Phase 3. 👏

We’re proud to have supported the creation of the new Spiritual Reflection Garden at The Downs CEP School, officially opened today by The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Bishop of Dover and Canterbury.

OFP donated timber for the garden’s planters, benches and borders, which were then brought to life by the school and its students, creating a dedicated space for reflection, wellbeing and connection.

It was a privilege for our team to attend the opening ceremony and see first-hand the impact this project has had on the school community. The garden stands as a fantastic example of what can be achieved when local organisations, schools and students work together to create something meaningful and lasting.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this wonderful space to life.

A few members of the OFP team swapped timber frame manufacturing for obstacle courses and team challenges recently as we took part in the Vice-Chancellor’s Business Games.

It was a brilliant day spent with businesses from across Kent, bringing people together through a bit of friendly competition, plenty of laughs and the occasional test of endurance!

While there were a few competitive moments, the real value was spending time together outside of the workplace, meeting new people and supporting a fantastic cause. This year’s event raised funds for East Kent Mencap, an organisation doing incredible work to support people with learning disabilities across our local communities.

Another exciting milestone delivered in Maidstone! 🏨 ✅

Our team recently completed the installation of ground floor panels and floor cassettes for a well-known hotel development in the area, showcasing the speed, precision and quality that timber frame construction can bring to large-scale commercial projects.

Great to see progress being made on a new hotel development project, with groundwork and slab preparation progressing well ahead of our timber frame installation.

Proud to be working alongside a fantastic project team on another major commercial build.

From the ground up, this project will showcase the speed, efficiency and sustainability that timber frame construction brings to modern developments.
