Recently completed home inverter and battery storage.

We installed a Givenergy 3.0kw AC coupled inverter complete with 9.5kWh battery, fed from a dedicated sub board with surge protection and an energy meter.

With this energy supplier the customer is using, it meant we were allowed to set the charging times at the low tariff in the off peak times of day, which basically meaning the customer is purchasing the electricity at a much cheaper rate during the night to fully charge the battery, ready to supplement the house power consumption.

An additional back-up eps consumer unit was also added to the install, which that will now allow certain circuits such as the house lighting, and a local socket outlet to continue to run from the available battery storage in the event of a power failure to the property.

Completed garage conversion/ office lighting with Ansell recessed spotlights, running up through the corridor and into the main office areas on the first floor.

Once the ceilings were decorated the spotlight plan was marked out using the laser as usual, then forged a home made dust catcher out of packing box to keep the mess down and fair play it stood the test.

Project EV 7.3kw charger install ⚡️

Supplied from a 32A dedicated circuit they also come with their own built in RCD protection and the cable has been terminated using 6mm ferrules. In the all black model these look pretty good too.

Charging point all set up and ready to go for the arrival of the clients new vehicle.

Charger was then rigged up to the house Wi-Fi, paired to the car and set up with a choice of charging rates to suit the needs.

Collection of lighting installs from a recent finished project on a new holiday cottage.

The fittings chosen by the client really compliment the style of property with the colour scheme and exposed wooden beams in the kitchen and bedrooms.

The lights are controlled by switches from the click definity range in a brushed chrome throughout.

Kitchen refurb recently completed.

Ran in an additional cooker supply to allow for the twin ovens, under cupboard strip lights, cooker hood and extractor and all new antique brass accessories throughout.

Customer had their own 3D effect tiles above the kitchen worktops which look pretty cool, and a feature wall over the dining area with glass tiles which we installed two dimmable brass wall lights over the booth.

Also replaced the existing spotlights with new Ansel Prism led downlights in warm white and added two extra ones, dug the laser out to carry the line through.

Big help from the cable tongue on this job fishing the lighting cables across and ceilings and down behind the kitchen units.

Emergency call out to a fast food restaurant last week.

The Burger station was out of action due to a blown socket which tripped the supply. There was also a couple of other light repairs to sort with broken accessories around the kitchen.

When initially isolating the supply managed to trace the a fault with the martindale plug tester to find a missing neutral on the pillar radial circuit. Re terminated the outlet then tested the circuit to make sure all was well before it was safe to use again

Commercial kitchen Gas interlock system install including solenoid gas valve, emergency stop button and differential pressure switch with some tidy pipe work and isolation valve previously done by Chris.

A necessary safety feature so that when it’s up and running with good airflow the sensor will allow the gas to flow as it should, however if any of the fans fail for any reason in the ventilation system it will automatically shut off the gas supply to the appliances.

It’s ready now to connect the tube to the cooker hood ventilation duct on completion of the kitchen.
