Replacing storm ravaged fencing this week!

This is a job we undertook in late summer 2021.

The customer wanted their garage partitioning to create an additional small living space for chilling out and entertainment.

The job involved knocking through and fitting a doorway from the garage to the house, building a dividing stud wall. The room was then plasterboarded and skimmed, before creating built-in cupboard and entertainment units, laying a wood veneered laminate flooring and fitting skirtings and architrave.

We recently finished replacing some rotten canopy cantilever brackets with these chunky beasts! They were built using African Iroko timber; a beautiful hardwood that was a pleasure to work with and will offer years of resistance to the British weather with it's density and naturally water resistant properties!

Installing the brackets on a warm, sunny day, in the hours we were there we watched the timber turn from a honey blonde into a warm red oak colour as the heat brought the timber's oil to the surface.
