We have been very quiet lately with posts on here, work has been very busy. All work and not much play. We are still here working behind the scenes.
However this is a special one, we are pleased, PROUD and HONOURED to announce we have sponsored for Dads Behaving Madly. I got invited in as a member 2 months ago with open arms and it has helped me physically and mentally.
This group not only has a football team, but offer all sort of activities for its members. Each and every single one of the group, are there for each other, support each other and have each others backs. True brotherhood. This isn’t just a group it’s a family. ❤️
What started as a casual kick-about at Pindar has grown into something massive. Madly United FC is now a full squad of dads, carers, and local men coming together as one. The individual progression of every single member is incredibly rewarding to see. We have guys on this pitch who had not played football in over ten years, and now they are sharper and fitter than ever. For us, football is the ultimate tool to improve fitness, lift mental health, and completely smash social isolation. No one struggles in silence when you have a brotherhood behind you.
I can’t thank Graham Porter & Dan Worrall enough for the opportunities on and off the pitch. And I wear the badge with pride and respect for all that you do for the community of dads and carers ❤️
