Our Founder and CEO, Trevor Gaughan, was delighted to speak at Stonewater and Greenoaks’s Driving Innovation for Housing event last week, held at the WWF Living Planet Centre in Woking.

Drawing on over 25 years of industry experience, Trevor shared his vision for transforming construction through innovation, highlighting how Ecofill is challenging traditional approaches to soil management, reducing waste, lowering carbon emissions and delivering significant commercial benefits.

🌱 Beyond innovation itself, Trevor is passionate about sharing knowledge, challenging established practices and encouraging the industry to think differently about the resources already available to us.

Exciting news! We're proud to announce that Ecofill is now on National Highways' Low Carbon Register.

National Highways requires you to demonstrate that you have considered the appropriate opportunities on this Register. Ecofill is now one of them.

National Highways has committed to net zero maintenance and construction by 2040, with a 40–50% cut by 2030. That includes the carbon in materials, the lorries that move them and the work on site. That is exactly what Ecofill removes.

National Highways has confirmed that using Ecofill produces:


✅ Up to 96% less carbon
✅ Up to 98% fewer vehicle movements
✅ 20–30% lower earthworks costs

If you deliver National Highways schemes, Ecofill belongs in your carbon reduction plan from day one.

As the countdown to Sunday's All-Ireland Final begins, the Ecofill office is proudly dressed in green and red! 💚❤️

From homemade scones and jam to green buns, plenty of treats, and of course the Mayo jersey taking pride of place, there's only one county we're backing this weekend.

Ecofill has strong Mayo roots, so this one means that little bit more to all of us.

After a 75-year wait, here's hoping this is finally Mayo's year to bring Sam home. Whatever happens, it's set to be a fantastic occasion and a brilliant showcase for Gaelic football.

👏 Earlier this week, we were proud to host the first of our Ecofill & Persimmon Homes Regional Forums!

It was a pleasure to welcome leaders from Persimmon North West and Scotland as we officially kicked off a nationwide programme of events designed to support the rollout of our new national partnership. 🤝

The afternoon provided an opportunity to share the journey behind the partnership, showcase the results already being achieved on live Persimmon developments, and discuss how innovative earthworks solutions can help unlock commercial, operational and environmental benefits across the business. 🌍🏗️

A huge thank you to everyone who attended for the fantastic engagement, insightful questions and open discussions throughout the afternoon.
