Commercial Yard Repair Completed by Robert Charles Contractors

We’ve recently completed essential site road repairs for a local transport company, helping them maintain safe operations, protect valuable equipment, and keep loads secure during vehicle movements.

The client required their damaged internal road to be reconstructed due to uneven surfaces causing instability for loaded trailers and increasing the risk of trailer damage.

Scope of Works Completed:
•Existing damaged surface broken out and excavated
•Area rebuilt using fully compacted hardcore, leaving 200mm depth for the final finish
•New surface installed using high-strength C45 fibre reinforced concrete for maximum durability under heavy traffic
•Reflective bollards fitted to prevent trailers overrunning onto surrounding soil areas

The result is a strong, long-lasting access road designed to withstand the demands of daily haulage traffic while improving site safety and efficiency.
