🚧 Westlea School Pathway Upgrade Complete 🚧

We’ve recently completed a pathway improvement project at Westlea School, creating a safer and more accessible route for staff, pupils, and visitors.

✅ Removed the existing step to create a smooth, level transition underfoot
✅ Lifted and removed all existing paving flags
✅ Installed new pin kerbs around the entire perimeter
✅ Reset and adjusted the manhole cover to finished levels
✅ Supplied and compacted a new hardcore sub-base
✅ Laid a fresh, durable tarmac surface throughout

The finished result is a clean, professional-looking pathway that improves both accessibility and safety while providing a long-lasting surface for everyday use.

Great progress on this project with all padstones now set and the structural steelwork successfully installed.

✅ Padstones installed
✅ Steel beams lifted into position
✅ Goalposts fitted
✅ Box beam installed to support the brickwork above the new bifold door opening
✅ Steel beam positioned for the new flat roof structure

The steel package is now in place, creating the structural support needed for the next stage of the build. Looking forward to seeing this transformation continue.

The Seaham job is now fully stoned up and ready for the scaffold to go up, allowing the brickwork to move on to the next stage. 👍

With the external structure progressing well, preparations are also underway for the internal floors to be completed, keeping the project on schedule and moving forward smoothly.

⚡ Electric Junction & Ducting Installation Completed ⚡

Today we carried out excavation works for a new electrical junction and installed ducting for a new power cable route.

The works will allow the existing electric meter/consumer box to be relocated from its current position to the inside of the garage, providing a safer, more practical, and more accessible setup for the property owner.

✔️ Excavation completed
✔️ Ducting installed to specification
✔️ Cable route prepared for utility connection
✔️ Site left clean and tidy
