Don't be guilty of overloading your sockets, especially when the plugs are connected to appliances that have heating elements. They are a cause of fires in the kitchen - and elsewhere.

Stay safe

We don't recommend using cube or block style plug extensions like this one as they can put strain on the wall socket. Some of them also don't have a fuse, which increases the risk of overloading. Even without the frayed wires, this set-up is risky!

Remember, only use one extension per socket and don't "daisy chain" them by plugging one extension into another.
