We love returning to previous installations for their first annual service, especially when the data looks this good. We recently visited a customer in **Silverdale** to service their **9kW Ebac** heat pump system, and the performance figures are outstanding.

📊 The Stats

After a full year of operation, the numbers prove that a well-designed system pays for itself:

SCOP (Seasonal Coefficient of Performance): 4.6
Average Savings: £60 per month** off their energy bills!
The Setup: 9kW Ebac unit paired with a new 210L cylinder.

🧠 Smart Control = Big Savings

A huge part of this success is down to the Homely Heat Pump Controls we integrated. By intelligently managing the heating cycles and responding to the home's needs, the system achieves maximum comfort with minimum waste.

A 4.6 SCOPmeans that for every 1kW of electricity used, the customer gets 4.6kW of heat back. Compare that to a traditional gas boiler which is usually less than 1.0, and you can see why the savings are so significant.

​There is nothing quite like the architecture of a historic church, but keeping those vast spaces warm can be a challenge. At Enerus, we were recently called to St. Nicholas Church in Cramlington to solve a heating crisis.
​With two broken heat pumps leaving the congregation in the cold, we stepped in to provide a modern, reliable, and eco-friendly upgrade.

​🔄 The Upgrade

​We decommissioned the old units and installed a powerful Warmflow Zeno AS03 R290 22kW unit. This high-performance heat pump is designed to handle large demands while utilising R290 refrigerant, making it one of the greenest options on the market today.

❄️ From Over-Spec to Ultra-Efficient: The Enerus Way

Think you need a complex "cascade" system for your home? Think again. A "one-size-fits-all" approach often leads to higher costs and lower efficiency.
At Enerus, we let the data do the talking.

We recently visited a customer who had been told they needed a multiple-unit cascade setup. After a precision heat loss calculation, we found the true requirement was 10.2kW at -2°C.

🛠️ The Solution

Instead of over-complicating things, we designed a streamlined, high-performance system featuring:
The Unit: Samsung Gen7 R290 Integrated Heat Pump.
The Cylinder: Gledhill Envirofoam (1500 x 500, 218L Vented).
The Setup: Utilizing existing 28mm primary flow/returns with 10mm manifold-fed radiators.

🌡️ Efficiency is in the Detail

To ensure the system runs at peak performance (and lowest cost), we replaced several radiators to allow for low flow temperatures. By optimising the emitter surfaces, we can keep the house toasty while the heat pump works less.

Our Weather Compensation Settings:
At -2°C outside, the system only needs a 35°C flow temp.
At 14°C outside, it drops to a super-efficient 23°C flow temp.

The result? A simplified installation, lower running costs, and one very happy customer.

Quality and that's that.

Our customer in Newcastle asked us to replace their old Megaflow hot water cylinder.
Back in 2021 we installed a lovely state of the art Viessmann Vitodens 200-W system boiler, running on a 4 pipe configuration.

To compliment our original boiler installation we replaced this cylinder with a Viessmann Vitocell 300-W 200L unvented hot water cylinder, creating a complete Viessmann environment for efficient heating and hot water delivery.
