Did you know we can take care of everything needed to create a more open-plan living space?

From structural calculations and organising Building Control approval, through to supplying and installing the required steelwork, we can handle the entire process.

We can safely remove walls and chimney breasts, creating valuable additional space and transforming your home into a more open, spacious and practical living area. This is a project which is currently work in progress and we will post further once complete.

Some further progress photos of the project we are doing full design and build on. The utility roof finish will be going on next week and the timber trusses installed to garage next week also. Heading towards completion in a few weeks.

A double garage with rear WC and utility extension to the existing property under way for a client who used our full design and build service, the dig out for extension uncovered some made up ground full of old rubble and bricks but we overcome this quickly and swiftly with a raft design to keep progressing and giving the client a seamless, stress free build. As we’re nearly half way through 2026, it’s been a busy first half of the year with both design projects and also a few of the full package design and build projects coming through.

If you’re looking for an all in one package or just a design service please don’t hesitate to reach out, we have also picked up a couple of projects where the customer has been advised incorrectly or the builder has made a mess of the project. We have visited the client and advised on steps required to rectify the building works or provided the required design information to get them back on track with the project they originally thought they were receiving. Which included speaking with building control to rectify and make a plan going forward to achieve compliance.

It’s important if you’re planning on doing any building works you do your research and homework on the companies you’re using and even ask to view previous work as if the company is competent, they won’t hesitate to show you previous projects, photos can be shown but this doesn’t always show the full picture of a project and quality of work.

A lot of advise you can receive can be around planning and permitted development which can also be incorrect if certain permitted development rights have been removed and it’s not investigated correctly and you’re advised it falls under the PD rights but actually you may fall short with this if they have been removed.
