📍 Location: Selby, North Yorkshire
💷 Salary: From £27,500 per annum, plus additional benefits
🕒 Contract: Permanent, full-time — 37.5 hours per week, including weekend work
🏡 ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Showroom Sales Advisor to join our team in Selby. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for customer service, flooring and interior design to help customers transform their homes.
You will provide a personalised, consultative sales experience, guiding customers through the entire purchasing journey — from choosing the right flooring to arranging orders, delivery and aftercare.
✨ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome customers into the showroom and deliver outstanding one-to-one service.
• Understand customers’ needs, budgets and design preferences to recommend the most suitable flooring solutions.
• Provide expert advice on flooring options, colours, styles and finishes.
• Carry out home consultations and visits when required.
• Manage the complete sales process, including quotations, orders, deposits, delivery arrangements and aftercare.
• Build lasting customer relationships through excellent communication and a consultative approach.
• Maintain high standards of showroom presentation, displays and merchandising.
• Keep up to date with new products, supplier ranges and interior design trends.
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally and efficiently.
• Work towards individual sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the showroom.

We are looking for someone who is confident, approachable and passionate about helping customers make the right choices for their homes.
You will ideally have:
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in recommending products, negotiating and closing sales.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• A good eye for colour, style and detail.
• A professional, reliable and proactive attitude.
• The ability to manage multiple stages of the sales process.
• A genuine interest in flooring, interiors and home improvement.
• Confidence working in a customer-facing showroom environment.
🚗 A full UK driving licence would be an advantage, particularly for home consultations and customer visits.
