Congratulations to victorralphltd on their 1 year anniversary!!! 🥂🍾

It was a pleasure to be part of the beginning of their journey, converting and creating the new salon.
Here’s to many more successful years to come!

…..Another angle showing the raised bed.

We planted this up with some more shrubs (buxus and correct me if I’m wrong, a type of euonymus) that we found around the garden that were in the way of some of the hard landscaping works.
I thought it best to put them to use rather than put them in the skip! I think they look quite at home in the new bed. Fingers crossed they take to the new location.

This is where we had to leave this build for now. However we have some exciting plans for the rest of the garden when we are back here next year!

Next stage of the build….🔨📐

To combat the change in levels from the paving to the main garden we installed a small raised bed and a set of steps.

We used the one and only bullnosed step copings to match the main paving, finishing off the treads perfectly 👌🏻
The steps lead you onto a brick feature path which links the front and rear of the garden, where we have some exciting plans in the pipeline! TBC……

Another stage of the build from this garden re-design.
Paving and small sleeper retainer installed. Here we used the ever popular Grey Riven Sandstone from in the 900x600 single size complementing the brickwork and windows perfectly 👌🏻
Stay tuned for more updates from this build 👍🏼

🧱 Here’s the feature wall we completed last year from our previous post. 🧱
Not only serving as a screen to block the view of the unfortunate gas tank location, but it was the perfect location for (my first attempt I must add) espalier training a stray Braeburn apple tree we found swamped amongst the other shrubs in the garden.
With time this will help soften the brick heavy view with a bit of greenery and hopefully some tasty apples! 🍎

Back on the trowel for a Monday morning to finish this feature wall 🧱

Made so much easier with our profile setup using profiles, clamps and dori blocks and of course the one and only trowel👍🏻

Things have been a little quiet on here over the past few months. I’ve taken a little step back from things to focus on our new addition….💙
After a short family break away for a bit of a reset, we’re back!!!
Stay tuned while I work through the back log of photos of the projects we’ve been working on!

Following on from yesterday’s post, we are proud to unveil our latest project.

Although simple in design, we added a few touches such as the curved retaining wall and feature path to create a more interesting space that worked with the clients needs.

‘Raj’ sandstone was the main colour palette to work with. We teamed this with some mixed brown cobbles and ‘Autumn Gold’ stone cladding to bring a subtle change in colour and texture to the garden. Planting of the bed is to be completed by the client to add their own personal touch.

Really pleased with the end result on this one. What do you think?

Thanks again to the guys for the stone products on this one!

We were originally sub-contracted in for the build of this large two storey extension and property alteration back in 2013.
On completion we were commissioned to design a new rear patio area and build this over a number of stages. Although this isn’t our ideal way of doing things, we made it work and are pleased to announce that the project is now complete.
Stay tuned for the grand unveiling!!!
