Maintenance Monday! 🛠️

Here’s our Director, Adam, getting hands-on this morning and greasing up our Bobcat E27z digger before it gets to work on site!

Simple daily habits, like greasing pins, clearing tracks, checking tire pressures, and inspecting safety critical gear, prevent premature wear, eliminate unexpected breakdowns, and keep our projects running seamlessly without costly delays.

As part of our uncompromising commitment to site safety and legal compliance, we strictly enforce daily and weekly PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) checks across all equipment:

Daily Pre-Start Inspections: Every morning, our operators run thorough quick-checks tailored to their gear. For machinery and vehicles, this covers track and tire condition, fluid levels, hydraulic lines, quick-hitch security, and control responsiveness. For climbing kits and height-safety gear, visual checks ensure harnesses, ropes, and carabiners are free of wear or defect before anyone leaves the ground.

Weekly Comprehensive Inspections: A deeper, structural check across all fleet assets. We inspect pin play, structural integrity, safety guards, emergency shut-offs, and load-bearing components to catch minor wear and tear before it can ever turn into a hazard.
