The best lighting control system is probably the one you don't notice.
We recently completed this lighting control installation at Pewterers' Hall in Central London.
It's an incredible building, with ornate ceilings, traditional chandeliers and some amazing historic interiors, so installing a modern lighting control system here needed a bit more thought than simply putting switches on walls.
We installed Rako controls across the main rooms, giving the client simple scene control over the different lighting circuits from discreet wall stations.
The nice thing about the finished installation is just how little of it you actually see.
A small control plate replaces what could otherwise be a large bank of switches, while all of the control equipment, cabling and switching is hidden away behind the scenes.
Rako is a premium lighting control system and we've been really impressed with what it can do. For buildings like this, where there are multiple lighting circuits but you don't want the controls taking anything away from the room itself, it works really well.
Really pleased with how this one came together and it's always nice getting the opportunity to work in buildings like this.
Another interesting project completed by London Live Electrical for in Central London.
