🏆👏 A primary school teacher has been recognised on the national stage after being named a Silver winner at the Pearson National Teaching Awards.

🍎 Laura Wallis, from Milstead and Frinsted C of E Primary School, was honoured in the Teacher of the Year in a Primary School category, with judges praising her determination and care in securing adaptive technology for pupils who need it most.

❤️ Colleagues described Laura as an “amazing and dedicated” teacher who goes above and beyond every day, creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and bringing lessons to life through memorable experiences.

🎉 The award was announced on National Thank a Teacher Day, and Laura is now in the running for a prestigious Gold award, set to be revealed later this year in London and on BBC One’s The One Show.
