Raised Garden 🌿

Client wanted this section of there garden raised level to make it more usable for them 🌳 but also leaving clear & easy access to there oil tank area.

We added a Sleeper retaining wall with the appropriate waterproofing behind 🪚
A boundary fence to match the rest of the property with the added livestock mesh fencing 🪚
We added in 40 ton of soil. Which we levelled & graded out evenly 🚜
Then finished off with top quality turf 🌱
Small access gate created with small gravel steps 🧱
We slopped down the soil from underneath the fence down to the lower level that will be grasses seed and will soon blend in once grass starts to grow 🌱💧

As we are still on our big blue brick commercial wall job in the Hillsborough area. 🧱We had this project booked in over the weekend. A scallop boundary fence & gate made and fitted to suit. 🪚A chicken run / coop footing installed with sleepers set out to the measurements of the coop drawings which will be assembled and placed on top. 🐓🥚

Home project 🏡 trying out a new product in the joints to see how it with stands over the summer period. Application was very simple. Waiting on the area to dry before cleaning off any excess. 💦

It’s important to keep your patios maintained with a simple maintenance each year. A simple jet wash to remove winter grime to get it looking fresh again. Specially if your garden is near big established trees or vegetation. 🌳 Sealing your patios will also prevent dullness ( but please bare in mind to wait 3-6 months to seal a newly installed patio ) 🧱

🌟3x Large sleeper bedding areas 🪚 with golden flint gravels paths separated with metal edging boarders for easy access for planting & maintenance.🌱🌿🪵 All sleepers areas was filled with high quality top soil 🪏
🌟Steps all reconstructed from block & stone and finished with Raj Green paving stones 🧱
🌟Natural stream was pond lined and filled with Scottish cobbles and edging finished in a rockery style 🌊

Weather struck repoint 🧱

A job we completed over the Easter break. The old pointing wasn’t to standard, cracking , fall off, big gaps. We raked out all the mortar. Cleaned all joints out and added helibars & resin to the areas that needed it. Followed by the weather struck pointing to match the rest of the property 🧱

Repointing 🧱

This job had to be done quite quickly due to the scaffolding coming down from a re roof. Client noticed that most of the mortar was missing & had perished due to age and weather. We came and repointed a good portion of this area and anything that was unstable. This was pointed in a 3.5 NHL Lime mix to match the rest of the property. Thankfully the weather was on our side that weekend. ☀️

The adjoining neighbour also had an unsafe chimney pot which needed resetting. We removed all that was loose and reset back into position. 🧱⭐️

We Have Sunshine ☀️

What a difference it makes when you’ve got the nice weather on your side. This project is coming along nicely. Will start to see a big shift by the end of this week. Things are taking shape. These Gabion baskets will be a big part of the finished design.
