Navitas Solar were approached by ASD Lighting PLC in Rotherham to investigate the underperformance of their Solar PV system, originally installed by a different contractor. We conducted a thorough survey, including a drone investigation, and performed a comprehensive electrical test on the system. Our report identified two faulty inverters, one of the DC strings was burnt out, and the panels were significantly dirty, requiring cleaning.

We have since cleaned the panels using our safe, long-reach cleaning system, repaired the burnt out string on the roof and plan to replace the malfunctioning inverters in the coming days. This will restore the system to full efficiency, allowing ASD Lighting to reap the full financial and environmental benefits of their clean energy system.

In the summer of 2023 we installed a 50kwp system to Jacksons CRS in Sheffield in the summer of 2023.

Jacksons were so impressed with the generation results that they decided to add to there system and get more panels onto some other roofs they had.

Navitas have recently completed this additional installation of 71 430w Jinko panels and the total system size is now 80 kwP.
