From Monday 16th of March our Oakbrook Road showroom is undergoing a refurbishment as we work to modernise the space to showcase a better range of our windows and doors.

The Distinction Doors Nan Ya door slab ensures your home is warm and secure, using a highly insulated foam core. The Nan Ya slab has a high quality wood grain finish which gives a realistic and premium aesthetic to all of our doors.

With over 35 door designs, 50+ colour options and a variety of decorative glass patterns and hardware to choose from, you can design a door that is truly unique to your home

Every composite door we install uses Yale Home UK high security cylinders and locking mechanisms, making your home safe and secure.

Yesterday, members of our team undertook the 282-mile round trip to visit the REHAU UK - Window Solutions manufacturing facility in Blaenau, Wales. This is REHAU’s primary and oldest manufacturing facility in the UK.

We made the trip to learn more about how the uPVC product we work with every day is designed and manufactured, and to gain a better understanding of how REHAU operates as a company.

During our tour, we learned about REHAU’s company history, beginning with manufacturing parts for the German automotive industry in 1948, before starting to produce PVC window profiles in the late 1950s.

The Blaenau factory is staffed by over 200 people, all of whom live locally and many have worked there for more than 30 years. REHAU’s involvement in the local community, along with its investment in the area and its people, has fostered a team that genuinely cares about their work and the quality of the products they create.

Their focus on becoming a fully net-zero manufacturer through investment in green technologies and procedures, as well as their commitment to become a fully closed loop manufacturer with large investments in co-extrusion is inspiring to hear about, particularly as a fabricator striving to do the same.

The wealth of knowledge and commitment shown by everyone we met reinforced our belief that we work with a supplier who genuinely cares about the quality of the products they deliver and their people.

With the 35th anniversary of our partnership approaching in August, it reminds us why we’ve chosen to provide customers with REHAU profile windows for all these years.

A special thank you to Dylan and Andrew for the tour and the knowledge they shared with us, and to Barry and Hannah for facilitating the opportunity to arrange this visit.
