This morning, on International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) 2026, we were proud to sponsor the Better Together Forum, hosted by The Work-wise Foundation and Skills Street.
As a business committed to developing future talent, it was fantastic to support an event focused on helping young people thrive in the workplace and creating opportunities for meaningful conversations between employers, educators and early-career professionals.
Representing Airmaster at the forum were our Managing Director, Lisa Pogson, alongside Mechanical Design Apprentice Max Brough and Marketing Apprentice Lee-Anne Batty, whose perspectives and experiences reflect the importance of investing in the next generation of talent.
The morning featured valuable discussions around skills for growth, apprenticeship pathways and supporting young people as they develop their careers. It was also particularly fitting to take part on INWED, a day dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women in engineering and encouraging more young women to consider careers in STEM.
Thank you to The Work-wise Foundation and Skills Street for organising such an insightful event, and to everyone who contributed to the discussions.
