Job in Hathern going well forgot to post this before we went back to lay the floor at Long Whatton. As we’re next to a grade 2 listed building we dug and concreted in 2 parts and joined at45*with steel bar . came in twice with the pump and mix lorry as always great job , even came surveyed the job beforehand . Footings all concreted in flat level , drains in (always replace old pipe runs ). Ready for brick to DPC .oh and get the digger out down the ramp fun fun fun

Shortly after I posted the last update on the long Whatton build .co.uk came in and laid a lovely flat smooth floor . Nearly 4 weeks later we returned this gave the customer time to paint ceilings and walls also the skirting boards before we fit them . Customer had chosen nature herringbone LVT which helps make the room feel bigger. Skirting on top I generally like to add a 152mm helps highlight the floor . Lovely card from the customer as now all finished till next year when we will return for a new kitchen fit .

Week in the new job in Hathern. This house is 2m up from the road so had to make a ramp get up the digger , a tower platform to tip off . have been great so tidy an quick taken away the 48 tonne so far . As we’re digging close to a grade 2 listed building the footings will be done in stages . 1st tomorrow. Mostly clear now including outbuildings and reducing back for new patio once the extensions done .

So after not posting for a while here’s 2nd in 2 days .
Kitchen diner stud wall and ceilings down (always tided up with wet dry vac ), them and extension 1st fix electric and heating. All watertight outside Brookmill Blend , felt the only I’ll use electric roof windows in and all watertight. 2 big picture windows ( glass was heavy around 130kg) original bifolds moved . Upended up into kitchen widened and raised up with 2 steels . Was a sweaty week and customer sending a lovely text always helps

Can’t believe I haven’t posted anymore of the Long Whatton job . All going great so here’s a catch up . Bricks from blocks out of footings for block and beam floor . Walls up and steel in to take the roof with 3 electric roof windows .

New job in Long Whatton going well 10 days in all upto block and beam level . Been a while since I put up a conservatory but it was still up in the old noggin to take it down properly. Lucky its footings wasn’t too deep. Pump and concrete by .ltd as always fantastic job and timing. Artificial turf back down and cleaned up .

Last years customer booked us in as soon as we’d fin the extension and internals for a new patio. Asked for curved edges steps , red brick and grey sandstone. Back breaking but enjoyed this 1 .

Small add on in Quorn finished recently but then completely knocked through with new roof , new fire escape windows with fire system and door release to complete building regs .
