Check out these beauties! Found these lovely bugs on the 'Copper and Green' stand, at the gardening show. They specialise in copper ornaments, decorations and implements for the garden. They also had these wonderful bugs and darters. I managed to pick 2 that I thought could really zing-up my gardening hats.What was ridiculous was the price at only £8.00 each. So you now know where to get a stonking bargain. They also had loads of wonderful things that would look lovely in anyone's garden or on your clothes/hats.

Every now añd then I take some time out to visit a garden show. This time I visited the Gardener World spring show for inspiration, and here is a little of what I saw and loved. I also am happy as I got a root ball for a huge Peonies at a very good price, along with some plants (who eat flies) for my kitchen window sill (keeping my pest control all environmentally friendly).

A while ago I posted about T-cups and showed a variety of crockery which had all been destined for the bin.
With a bit of creative iniative they have been recycled into these lovely decorative bird feeders (and yes I understand that there is now a national call for reducing bird feeders due to the spread of disease in birds).
Anyway now we have some bird feeders ready for when they can be put out again, maybe we will switch indoors for outdoors and remove the seed and put in sweets?!

Loving the sun being out has meant that a few touches can make all the difference. Cleaning pathways and leaving Erigeron daisies to create their summer loveliness, clearing up summer border edges ready for the mower to come along and putting in a completely new cottage garden planting scheme. Just some of the jobs to get ready for a lovely Summer.
